Today's economy and foreclosure crisis has touched everyone. Even if you have not experienced financial hardship personally, there is a good chance that you know someone who has. In fact, 1 in 10 homeowners now face a foreclosure on their home.Although much of the news seems to be disheartening, there is a beacon of hope. Banks are now more willing than ever to work with homeowners to either keep them in their homes through loan modifications or help them move forward through what is known as a short sale.
A short sale is when the lender is willing to accept less than what is owed on the property. There are many myths and misunderstandings surrounding short sales. Many homeowners listen to poor advice that short sales don't work. Statistics show that 70% of distressed homeowners lose their home without ever seeking alternatives to foreclosure. Our mission is to lower that statistic.
I have created this website to educate the Sarasota County homeowners to the advantages of short selling their home versus losing a home to foreclosure. Not everyone can be helped, but we are willing to do everything we can to try. In most cases, our short sale fees are no cost to the distressed homeowner, they are paid for by the lender.
